Music is distributed at the beginning of each term or as required. Members are expected to take good care of the scores and to return them after the performance. Music not returned will need to be charged for. Members should bring a pencil with them to rehearsal and make markings on the score in such a way that they can easily be erased after use. Highlighter should not be used on scores belonging to the choir library.

Dress code for concerts, unless otherwise stated, is for the men to wear a black suit, white shirt, black bow-tie, black socks and black shoes. Ladies should wear a long (below the knee) black skirt or smart trousers (not jeans), a long-sleeved black top, black tights and black shoes. Members should note that anyone not adhering to the dress code may not be allowed sing at the concert.

Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays in the Lutherhaus, 24 Adelaide Road, beginning at 7.30 p.m. sharp and end at around 9.45 pm.
If you cannot attend a rehearsal, please inform Sophia, our internal liaison officer, on 086 8034973 or at

Coming up to a concert, extra rehearsals may be scheduled, but these will be announced giving plenty of notice. The annual Christmas concert requires attendance from 4.30 pm on the day of the concert (usually a weekday), so members should arrange to take time off work for that rehearsal.
